Hi Friends! Welcome, and I’m so thankful you’re here.

Since I was a child, art has brought me so much joy. I especially love watercolor painting and I took any & all classes that I could. My mom encouraged me and saved my earliest works (thanks Mom!). My grandmas also supported my creativity and this site is named after them (Mary & Ginny).

My mental health suffered at the end of high school and God used that time to bring healing, light and a new perspective on what mattered in life. I’m so thankful for how God used that time to help me surrender to His will. Counseling was a huge gift and I love encouraging others from my experience–we are truly never alone in our struggles.

I’m now a wife, stay-at-home mama to four, and former elementary school teacher. I loved teaching art and leading my students in artist reproductions (we studied Winslow Homer and Fra Angelico when I taught first grade).

Being a mom is my greatest joy! Our children teach me every day about so many things, but especially about how important play & creativity are to our well being.

I started painting more intentionally again in 2020 and I love making art for others. I love conveying God’s beauty through art. God is the original Artist and I see so many of His fingerprints when I study the flowers and world that He made. My prayer is that my art would point others to Him and His creativity, beauty and love.
